HOW BEING WRONG BECAME MAGIC

I was wrong. I thought that speaking (at the Inspired Women event a couple weeks back) was going to be just a bit of fun but not really relevant or anything special for my business.

Turns out, I had alot to say, insight that alot of people found great value in AND I really enjoyed speaking! On a stage! Who would have thought?! (How great does my hair look?! Amazing photography by Fi Mims Photography

Speaking at the Inspired Women's event was magic. I felt in the flow and made new connections with the amazing audience, especially during the Q&A panel after my talk.

Then, literally as I came off the stage I sold the top painting I had displayed! (to use as a prop for my talk) "Courageous Surrender" was the perfect example of meeting it's perfect forever home at the right time.
I hadn't even finish painting the sides yet!

It was the final sign that confirmed the magic I felt in the air.

The previous day was spent truly connected with my mastermind business soul sisters. There is just something magic about gathering with a collection of women who are working on similar goals and dreams for their life and biz.

If you've never experienced the power of a mastermind, I highly recommend you get yourself into one to truly see growth and insight + be supported in a way that well-meaning family and friends just can't quite achieve.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THOSE OF YOU WHO CAME BY!

new wallpaper - virtue of work & rest

After the talk, I came home to a pile of work that had accumulated from clearing my schedule to prep for a full mastermind day and participate in the event the day after.

Add on top of that a few days of Indigo not sleeping well, home to-dos that needed done before we leave on holiday - I was feeling the intensity of the pressure. This quote was the anchor and light through the potential overwhelm that was approaching.

"There is virtue in work, and there is virtue in rest.
Use Both and overlook neither"

~ Alan Cohen

I took almost a whole week off after the event day to allow my mind, body and soul to really absorb the magic of the two days and percolate the million of ideas that sparked to life after all the connections made.

I kinda thought about feeling a bit guilty for the lazy lounging around, but decided I couldn't be bothered with all that heaviness. It was heaven to just allow myself the space to really feel present with the changes that will come from the experience.

DO YOU NEED A REMINDER TO CREATE SPACE FOR REST?

I hope as always, my story and artwork will be a beautiful encouragement to inspire you. May this month's wallpaper serve as a reminder of what your heart is asking for. Whether it's good work or good rest.
