Continuing my exploration of the spiral shape as a feature in my current body of work - this piece is my first on wood. The new medium created a sense of softness for some reason on a new, harder surface to what I'm use to. 

This piece came together very quickly, there was a sense of vibration that came through the fluro colours around the spiral. Almost like the lines of a seismic graph that marks the vibrations and resonance of the earth. 

The soft colours in the background contrast this in a satisfying partnership but I can't shake the sense that there is more of this to come. Thus the title that this is only a 'peek' to the resonance I feel in creating this  body of work.
