NO.99 OF MY A SPIRAL PAINTING A DAY PROJECT ON INSTAGRAM. 

The blue twin to no.50 — I tried to push my comfort zone with the number of layers for the background wash.

Experimenting with the paper to see how it holds. It gives it a stuffy, thicker feel to the colours - the 640gsm holds up AMAZING.

And the many layers took patience! The dreamy feel to the whole Spiral was worth it. I’m particularly fond of the gem like qualities to the turquoise and teals. And of course, the spray of gold!

• Approx size 190mm x 120mm

• Acrylic on 640gsm Canson Heritage Cotton paper.
  A thick, gorgeous cotton paper with a velvety texture. It will look AMAZING with a float frame & mat so you can still see the hand cut deckled edge. (Contact me for a quote if you'll like me to help you organise framing)
